This Daniel Smith was NOT born in 1724 and was not the son of Jonathan Smith. He was born in 1722 (as record, including his tombstone which states he was 92 years old when he died in 1814 prove). Someone found a Daniel Smith b. 1724 (son of Jonathan) and decided it is the same Daniel Smith but IT IS NOT. This memorial is for the Daniel Smith who was b. 1722, son of Daniel and Rebecca Emery.
