Mrs. Mary Sherer, 67, of RD. 3, New Philadelphia, died Tuesday in Valley Manor Pavilion after being ill three weeks.
Born at Nineveh, she was a daughter of Harvey and Anna Keffer Pretorius and was a life resident of this area. She was a member of Sharon Moravian Church in Tuscarawas and the CIC Class. Her husband died in 1962.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Laura) Myers of RD. 1, Port Washington; a brother, John Pretorius of RD. 3 New Philadelphia, and five grandchildren. A son preceded her in death.
Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Uhrich-Hostettler Funeral Home at Uhrichsville with Rev. Roderick Evansen officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
