Leigh Williams Antisdel, 59, of Warren Center RR 1 died peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, following a period of declining health at the Hershey Medical Center. Leigh was born on Dec. 30, 1942, in Waverly, N.Y., a son of the late Lyle W. and Helyn E. Williams Antisdel. He was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School Class of 1960, where he participated in basketball and track. Leigh was a graduate of Ridley Lowell School of Business, Binghamton, N.Y., and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country from 1964 to 1966. On July 19, 1964, in Waverly, Leigh married Lora Crain (daughter of Helen Crain of Bumpville and the late Elmer Crain) and they made Warren Center their home. Leigh was a retired employee of IBM, Owego, and Endicott, and a member of the Warren Center United Methodist Church and the Warren Township Fire Company. Leigh loved life and was able to live each day to the fullest. Some of his favorite times were spent fishing; he especially enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren at the family cabin in Bumpville. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed hunting in Maine, Colorado, Wyoming and his home state. Leigh also enjoyed working with small engines and fully restored his 1957 Chevrolet Nomad with his son, Lee. Leigh and his contagious smile will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Leigh is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Lora (Crain) Antisdel; his son and daughter-in-law, Lee William and Yolanda Antisdel of Clymer, Pa.; his special grandchildren, Jordan Lara, Shalee Rae, Taylor Lee and Hunter Joseph Antisdel; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Marcia and Bud Parks of North Rome, Joan and Lyle Fassett of Conklin, N.Y., Judy (who lovingly gave Leigh one of her kidneys) and Wayne Allis of Rome, and Lois and Bill Ennis of Towanda; his aunts, Bernita Hunt, Julia and her husband, Fay Morris, and Mabel Williams, all of Nichols, N.Y.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Helen (Crain) and Ansel Young of Elmira, N.Y.; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rae and Don Parks of Athens, Connie and Vern Peck of North Orwell, and Jim and Linda Crain of Bumpville; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services and a celebration of Leigh's life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols, with Pastor C. Kenneth Crain and Pastor Russell "Tuck" Dewing officiating. Interment will follow in the Jillson Cemetery, with prayers by Pastor Brad Marple. The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Those who wish may kindly consider directing memorial donations to a scholarship fund for his grandchildren, in care of M&T Bank (Antisdel Scholarship Fund), P.O.
