Services for Ralph V. Brick, 60, of 135 S. Chestnut St., who was dead arrival at Twin City Hospital Friday after suffering an apparent heart attack will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Moravian Church.
Rev. James O. Brukart will officiate and burial will be in Gnadenhutten Cemetery. Friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 in Donald Thozeski Funeral Home.
He was born in Mineral City to the late Anson and Nioma Boyles Brick and resided here most of his life. Brick, named Citizen of the year in 1964, had served as a Clay Township trustee sinc 1961 and was a member of Tuscarawas County Assn. of Township Trustees and Clerks. He served on village council from 1952-57 and was a member of the board of public affairs from 1958-61.
The Warner & Swasey Co. employee was a member of the Gnadenhutten Clay Township volunteer fire department for 15 years. He also was a member of the Moravian Church.
Surviving are his widow, the former Pauline M. Kohler; two daughters, Mrs. Steve (Marla K.) Couts of here and Mrs. Alvin (Roberta) Cappel pf Ashland; two sisters and a brother , Mrs. Jerry (Pauline) Brown of Rd. 1, Dennison, Mrs. Chester (Melba) Greenhill of Canton and Dale of here, and four grandchildren. A brother is deceased.
