LEVY, Clyde Joseph - 53 of Simms Settlement, died July 31, 1999, in the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre, QEII. Born in New Ross, Lunenburg Co., he was a son of the late Forman and Marguerite (Walker) Levy. Clyde was a devoted family man. He began working with the construction of the Anil Plant, East River and continued to work for the plant and associated companies, including the current owners, ABTCO, for over 30 years. He was an avid farmer always toiling in his garden or harvesting his produce and caring for his livestock with great care and pride. He will be remembered as a kind and a friendly man by all that knew him. Surviving are his wife, the former Kathy Cook-MacLean; daughter, Robin, Halifax; stepson, Donald MacLean, Ontario; brothers, Cecil, Newport; Sperry, Thorburn; Caroll, Upper Vaughans, Foster, Berwick; Roy, Vernon, New Ross; sisters, Anne Mosher, Three Mile Plains; Ina Smith, Wolfville. He was predeceased by brother, Allen; sister, Helen. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. AnthonyÆs Roman Catholic Church, Hubbards, Rev. Brian Murphy officiating. A committal will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
