Matthew means "Gift of the Lord" and there could be no better name for this little superhero, who brought immeasurable Love to his family in the very short time he was with us on this earth. He has been called to his eternal home to be cradled and comforted in the protecting embrace of his Lord and Savior forever.
Master Alvarez was born September 25, 2009 in Winchester, Virginia
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Andrew; paternal grandparents, Gloria and Luis Medina and maternal grandparents, Diana and Ben Teles; paternal great-grandparents, Lolita Lara and Vincent Alvarez and maternal great-grandmother, Antonia Porto; an uncle, Alex Alvarez; and two aunts, Daisy Monterio and Dunie Queen.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 30, 2009 at the Fellowship Bible Church in Winchester, VA with Rev. John Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery,Winchester Va.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home in Berryville, VA.
