The funeral of Seneca Swan, formerly
of Canadice, was held from the Congregational
Church on Monday morning of
last week, Rev. Mr. Day conducting the
services. His remains were brought
from Hornellsville and were interred in
the Pitts cemetery. Mr. Swan was the
eldest in a family of nine children, he
being 70 years of age, while the young-
est is 50. This has been the first death
in the group. He was a brother of Mrs.
P. J. Stout of this place.
