Services for Frank L. Ward, 75, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Elgin. The Rev. Hannibal Frederick will officiate. Born Sept. 7, 1928, in Chicago, the son of Frank and Irene Kohl Ward, he died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. Ward was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin. A veteran, he was also a member of American Legion Post @#57 in Elgin. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; daughter; son; grandchildren; sisters; and a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Elgin.
