FIFTH WARD - Services for Joseph G. Constant Sr., 77, of Fifth Ward will be at 2 p.m. today in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Jules Claes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery No. 1 under direction of Hixson Bros., Marksville.
Constant died at 7 a.m. Tuesday in La Place.
He was a retired auto mechanic and a native of the Marksville area.
Survivors include his wife, Media G. Constant of Fifth Ward; five sons, Jason Constant of Kenner, Edward Constant of Fifth Ward, Charles Constant of Alaska, Joseph Constant Jr. of La Place and Larry Constant of Pineville; three daughters, Evelyn Dauzat and Geneva Albert, both of Folsom, and Patsy Seruntine of Fifth Ward; two brothers, Edwin Constant and Silton Constant, both of Chalmette; one half-brother, Paul Beauregard of Echo; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
