Sharron Sue Beck, 76, of McLeansboro, died 9:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.
Mrs. Beck was a bank teller before retiring from Peoples National Bank in 1999.
She was born March 5, 1935, in McLeansboro, a daughter of Paul and Aileen (Martin) Campbell.
Sharron married Don Wilburn Beck on June 12, 1953; he preceded her in death July 3, 2001.
Funeral services were Monday at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Revs. Steve Shoultz and Ron Trotter officiating. Burial was at IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Beck and wife Carmen of McLeansboro and Marty Beck of McLeansboro; two brothers, William Martin Campbell and wife Delores of Mt. Vernon and Jackie Carlton Campbell of McLeansboro; two sisters, Betty Jean Hill and Paula Kay Mason and husband Jim, all of McLeansboro; two grandchildren, Kyle Alan Beck of Florissant, Mo., and Marilee Nicole Beck of St. Louis; and several nieces and nephews.
Sharron was a member of Freedom Missionary Baptist Church and served as secretary to First Baptist Church in McLeansboro.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Beck; and a niece, Kelly Campbell.
