Thomas Fitzgerald Phelps 35, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Monday September 27, 2011. Born in Joliet, IL, he moved with his family to Jackson, MI at an early age. He lived in Jackson through his school years and attended college in Mt. Pleasant, MI where he received his degree in Science Medicine. Upon graduation he moved to Las Vegas where he worked in the gaming industry as a Sr. VIP Host, for different establishments. Tommy loved adventure and lived his life to the fullest, enjoying time with his friends and family, especially his daughter Ella. Tommy is preceded in death by his mother Sue Ann Phelps, his grandparents Cody and Martha Phelps and Earl Smithson. Tommy leaves behind his daughter Ella, Las Vegas, father Deet, brother, Tim (Stacy) and nephew David all of Jackson, MI, grandmother Goldie Smithson, Ft. Wayne, IN and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tommy will be remembered by his love of family and friends, his kindness and the way he cared for others. Memorial calling is Saturday October 15, 2011 from 11a.m. – 1p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Will be buried with his mother, Sue Ann Phelps.
