---Miles Warren Ackerson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ackerson of Battle Creek passed away Monday morning, August 10 at the state hospital at Kalamazoo, after a ten days; illness, at the age of twenty-nine. He is survived by his parents and two sister[sic], Lorena and Margaret. His grandfather, Geo. Warren Ackerson passed away just four weeks ago.
---The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:30 o'clock at the home 59 north McKinley avenue, Battle Creek. Rev. Osbourn of Hillsdale, former pastor of the Maple Street Methodist church will officiate. Burial at the Hotchkiss cemetery.
