Frank Ackerson Dies Wednesday In Battle Creek
---Frank W. Ackerson, 76, of 96 North Lavista Boulevard, Battle Creek, died yesterday morning.
---He was born in Marshall township in the Hotchkiss area, the son of G. Warren and Elva Ann (White) Ackerson, and lived in that vicinity until 1919, when he moved to Battle Creek.
---He married Bertha Mae Campbell June 13, 1899 in Marshall.
---Mr. Ackerson was a farmer most of his life, and retired in 1949 from the Battle Creek Feed Co.
---Surviving are his wife, Bertha Mae; two daughters, Mrs. Lorena Rockwell of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Margaret Hoshal of Battle Creek; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
---Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Evangelical United Brethren church in Battle Creek, with the Rev. G. A. Steeby officiating. Burial will follow in Hotchkiss cemetery.
---The body is at the Farley funeral home in Battle Creek.
