Elizabeth was the daughter of Heinrich (Henry) Dellinger and Johanna (or Hannah, or Anna) Rudisil Dellinger. She was the first wife of Jacob II Stroup.

Elizabeth and Jacob were married on 25 Aug 1790 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.

She and Jacob II had the following children:
-Adam Stroup (1791-1798)
-Martha Catherine "Caty" Stroup (ca 1793-1876)
-Moses Stroup (1794-1878)
-Adam Stroup (1800-1872)
-Benjamin Franklin Stroup (1802-1863)
-Mary Stroup (ca 1802-1821)
-Joseph Stroup (1803-1863 or 1872)
-Alexander Stroup (ca 1806- between 1860 and 1870)

They are also said to have a son, John Stroup, born 1792. But if this is true, the 1800 census is incorrect.

Elizabeth is buried in a private cemetery on Elliot Road, near Dallas, Gaston County, North Carolina. If anyone can identify the precise cemetery, please contact me so I can add it.
