Larry C. Ivey, 72, of Caspian, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011, at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette.
He was born July 2, 1938, in Stambaugh, son of Roberta (Dati) and the late Alfred Ivey. On June 2, 1960, at the Methodist Church in Iron River he married Judith Holmes.
Larry was a Vietnam Era veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired banker.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Ivey, Caspian; mother Roberta Schewe, Iron River; two sons, Michael Ivey, Gary (Roberta) Ivey, both of Watersmeet; three daughters, Lori (Steven) Audette, Las Vegas, Nev., Gail Ivey, Marquette, Julie (Tim) Chascsa, Ontonagon; eleven grandchildren, Ashley (Jason) Sarri, Kevin and Michael Audette, Kristin, Tori, Nicole, Alexis, Michael, Kevin and Jodi Ivey, David Turpeinen; three great-grandchildren, Cohen Sarri, Michael Audette Jr., Ava Turpeinen; one sister, Gail (Philip) Passamani, Iron River; other relatives, friends, and companions, ChiChi, Billy, Sassy and Vinnie. He was preceded in death by his father Alfred Ivey and a son Mark Ivey.
