Geneva Isabell Barr

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 8, at Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville for Gevneva Isabell Barr, 90, of Wellsville MO. Rev Robert Stoddard officiated at the 2 o'clock service.
Mrs. Barr died Thursday, Jan.5,2006 at 1:30pm at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico. She had resided at Gamma Road Nursing center in Wellsville for the past 4 years.
Visitation was held Saturday evening, January 7th, at Myers Funeral Home from 4:00 until 7:00 o'clock.
Burial was in the Wellsville Cemetery.
Mrs.Barr was born on March 19th,1915 in St.Louis Missouri.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Myrle J. Barr (and her 1st husband Cecil Pyle). She is survived by her 4 children, Dolores Junge, Robert "Bob" Pyle, James "Jim" Barr and Tom Barr. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
Mrs.Barr was a homemaker. She loved all sports and was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed watching wrestling.
Just a note: Geneva's biological father is Joseph Welch.. She was actually raised by her Mother and Stepfather (Irvie O'neal) after a divorce around 1918 or 1919.
