Florence Evelyn BOGGESS, 95, formerly of 1216 Franklin Ave., Rochester, died at 2:35 a.m. Saturday at Life Care Center, Rochester, where she had lived since March 15, 1997.
Born near Rochester to Rinaldo and Elenor LATCHAW HUNTER, she married Donald F. "Buss" BOGGESS July 3, 1926 in Rochester. He died Feb. 16, 1977.
Mrs. Boggess was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Rochester. She lived most of her life in the Rochester community.
Survivors include two sisters, Annabelle COTNER, Kendallville, and Clarabelle ZENT, Fort Wayne. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
Preceding in death with her husband were her parents, one daughter, Mary Ann BOGGESS on Feb. 11, 1948, two sisters, Goldie HINDEL and Edith WAGONER, one brother, Nelson HUNTER.
Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. Junior BOSE officiating. Burial is at Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
