Helen N. Bowers, 89, died Saturday, May 11, 1996, in Keokuk County Health Center, Sigourney, after a brief illness.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Powell Funeral Home, Keota. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Sigourney.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. and where an OES service begins at 7 p.m.
Survivors include a son, Richard of Waldorf, Md.; two daughters, Ruth Ann David of Rockford, Minn., and Peggy Herman of Sigourney; a sister, Beula Barcus of Sigourney; and a brother, John Moore of Iola, Kan.
