Dr. Calvin Jones Crow was born in an area then known as Crow Springs, in what is now called Bartow County, GA. He is the eighth known child of William Crow and Nancy Harriett Clardy. His siblings are: Margaret Ann, Samantha Jane, John F, Martha Jane, William Pickens (my great grandfather), Mary Francis and Adaline Crow. Dr. Calvin Jones Crow was first married to Mary Louise Connally (1852-1896) and they were parents to Lulu Crow (1872-1893). He next married Eliza Allen Pebbles (1862-1928). They adopted two children: Hattie L Savage (1881-? and Dana Fannie Prather (1887-1930). Dr. Crow graduated from Vanderbilt University and practiced medicine in Texas the remainder of his life.
