Viola G. Kocian was born June 29, 1922, at McKinlet Station, Oakdale, IL, the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Annie Frances Lowe Edwards. She married Paul Paul Kocian Dec. 10, 1949, in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death June 25, 1989.
Surviving are one son, Bill Kocian; two brothers, Dean (Anita) Edwards and Ora (Dorothy) Edwards; two sisers, Loyce (Dean) Knope and Daisy French; ten grandchildren;eight grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter-in-law, Janet Kocian; a great-granddaughter, Heather Kocian; four brothers, Vernon, Rbert, Delmer, and in infancy, Grover Cleveland Edwards; three sisters, Fern Burris, Betty Lou Edwards and Hilda Edwards.
