Gary is survived by his wife, Lavon of Lake City; children, Gary Green Jr. of Lohrville, Tina (Steve) Murkowski of Kiel, WI, Terry (Lisa) Green of Belgium, WI, and Tammy (Bob) Magner of Hamlin, IA; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Don (Betty) Green of Boise, ID, and Jack Green of Albert City, IA; sisters, Sherry Subbert of Payton, IA, Nancy (Ron) Fosche of Madrid, IA, and Linda (Clarence) Robinson of Des Moines, IA; and sister-in-law, Geraldine Green of Atlantic, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bob and Gene Green.
Gary Dwain Green was born on May 12, 1936 at Farnhamville, IA to William and Vera (Vote) Green. He served in the U.S. Army, and worked as a mechanic for International Harvester. On December 6, 1957, Gary was married to Lavon Cunningham at Farnhamville. Together theyserved as camp manager at Featherstone Park at Twin Lakes for 19 years. Gary was a member of the Lions Club and Lake City American Legion.
