Eugene T. Clancy, 98, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at the York County Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Anna C. (Ness) Clancy. Mr. Clancy was born February 14, 1907, in York County. He was a bartender at the Colonial Hotel and a W.W. II veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by a daughter, Doris M. Brown and a son, Robert C. Clancy both of York; a son, Gene A. Clancy is deceased; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. There will be no viewing. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Br. Michael Rubus, O.F.M. Cap. will officiate. The procession will form at the Pennsylvania Ave. entrance of the cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York, is in charge. www.kefferfh.com
