I. H. Bullard, 83, former postmaster of Waxahachie, died this morning in Houston, after a two-week illness. He had also been in the mercantile business for a number of years and was on the first Board of Aldermen for this city.
He was born Oct. 12, 1838 in Tazwell, Tenn. and a few years later the family moved to Neosho, Mo. He joined the CSA as a member of Parson's Brigade from here and after war's end, returned to Ellis County, settling near Sardis. He married Miss Sallie Nowlin in 1867. She died in June, 1906. 1906.
