LEWIS
Solomon J. Lewis, aged 45 years, passed away at a local hospital at an early hour Friday, December 15, 1916, death being due to injuries sustained at the logging camp of the Nestos Timber Company at the head of Lake Whatcom on Thursday, December 14, 1916. Mr. Lewis had resided in Bellingham for the past eleven years and has a large circle of friends to mourn his loss. He is survived by Mrs. Lewis, five sons and one daughter: John P., Byron M., William R., Ollie S., Earl and Ina E. Lewis, all residing at the family home, 2114 H Street. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 18, 1916, at 1:45 o'clock pm from the funeral parlors of Undertaker Harry O. Bingham, 1319 Dock Street, with Rev. W.F. Reagor, pastor of the First Chirstian Church, officiating. The funeral car will leave from the corner of H and Gerard Streets at 1:30 o'clock for the convenience of the relatives. Interment will be made in Bay View Cemetery.
