Charles H. Ace of Meshoppen, Pa., died on April 14. He was born in Auburn township, Pennsylvania, on Aug. 1, 1862.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Gress Ace; four sons, Floyd and Raymond of Meshoppen, Pa., Victor of Endwell, and Fred of Avon; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Woodruff of Binghamton, and Mrs. Carrie Smith of Avon; one brother, Sherman Ace of Meshoppen, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Jennie Judson of Elmira; 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on April 16 at 2 p.m., at Jersey Hill Methodist Church, with Rev. Gail Garst officiating. Interment was in Jersey Hill Cemetery.
