She was born in West Auburn on Oct. 11, 1904, daughter of the late Harry and Isabelle Sterling Younker.
She was a member of the Meshoppen United Methodist Church, and the Meshoppen United Methodist Women where she served as secretary for 25 years, and the Meshoppen Senior Citizens. She was a past member of the Meshoppen Grange, West Auburn Grange and the Tyler Memorial Auxiliary of Laceyville and Meshoppen.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Ace; brother, Carl Younker; sisters, Ruth Pickett and Madge Owen.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Janet Ace of Elizabethtown, Pa.; daughters, Lucy Keeney and Elsie McMicken of Meshoppen; daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Charles Pierson, of East Rush; nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Meshoppen, on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday at the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from the Meshoppen United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sandra Yerton, pastor of the Meshoppen United Methodist Church.
Interment will be in Jersey Hill Cemetery, Meshoppen.
