Clifton Rites Set at Forsyth

FORSYTH, MT. ----- Funeral services for Sylvester Clinton Clifton, 65, who died Saturday night at a Forsyth hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Beals Mortuary by the Hysham Presbyterian Church.

Burial will be in the Forsyth Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.

Mr. Clinton who carried mail and worked for the Milwaukee Railroad until his retirement in 1962.
He had resided in Hysham for the past four years.

He was born May 16, 1900, at Scarbro, West Virginia.
He came to Ingomar, MT., in 1914 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Clifton.

He married Wilma P. Thomas at Forsyth on Oct. 7, 1926.

Besides the widow, he is survived by five sons, Barney, Clayton and James all of Hysham, MT., Roy of Myers, MT., and Clinton of Billings, MT.: three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Ann Imel of Ingomar, MT., Mrs. Vonda Schaff of Yellowtail, and Mrs. Helen Finch of Atwood, CO., three sisters, Mrs. Tressie
Hardtke of Billings, MT., Mrs. Arb Stepper of Spokane, WA., and Mrs. Devota Mann of California; two brothers Carl of Powell, WY., and Guy of Ingomar., MT., and 24 grandchildren.
