Marianne Babich Vale Born April 23, 1943 in Gary, Indiana, passed away February 10, 2004 in Azusa, California.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Vale; 2 daughters, Lorianne Bowers, Katherine Zon-Rojas; 4 sons, Thomas Zon, Jason (Sabiga) Zon, Joseph (Robin) Breese, and James (Melissa) Vale; 11 grandchildren; parents, Joseph and Katherine Babich of Gary, IN; 2 sisters, Margaret (Thomas) Thornton of Arkansas and Evette (Paul Thornton) Babich of Texas; 1 brother, Joseph (late Cindy) Babich of Florida; 3 aunts, Mary (late Milan) Pastuovic of Elmhurst, IL, Ethel (late Thomas) Babich of Glendora, CA, and Rosemary (Bob) Gard of Crown Point, IN; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marianne graduated from Lew Wallace High School. A Memorial mass was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Irwindale, CA on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at Forest Lawn in Covina Hills, CA.
She worked in the Unified School District of Duarte, CA, as an accountant for many years.
