COURIER-JOURNAL OBITUARY - 10/11/2011
KAYROUZ, NASSAR V. "TONY," 94 passed away Monday October 10, 2011. He was a retired foundry worker for the old Inter-national Harvester with 27years of service, an Army veteran of World War II, and was also a member of the old St. Clement Church (now St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church). An accomplished musician, he was known as, "Tony the Mad Mad Drummer." He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty (Flint); five children, Mark Kayrouz (Beverly), Vicki Staggs (Michael), Thomas Kayrouz (Sheila), Suzie Kayrouz and Steve Kayrouz (Scherri); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Kleinhenz (Alex) and Elizabeth Robey. His funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
