Alice Rebecca Steele, 96, of Lancaster formerly of Silver Spring, Maryland died on Sunday, October 9, 2011. She was the widow of William Francis Steele, Sr. and a former active member of Luther Rice Memorial Baptist Church in Silver Spring, Md.
Surviving are her children, Nancy S. Talley and husband, Winfield of Lancaster, William F. "Sonny" Steele, Jr. of Chase City, Patricia "Patty" Isaac and husband, Donald of Gettysburg, Pa. and Alan Ray Steele of West Virginia; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Brookeville, Md. with Rev. Winfield Talley and Rev. Daniel Isaac officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Village of Laurel Run Auxiliary, 6375 Chambersburg Road, Fayetteville, PA 17222.
