Mrs. Kathryn Dunlap, 87, of Maxwell, died yesterday afternoon at Glenn General Hospital where she had been confined since the day before Christmas. She had been in ill health for about six months.
Born at Dixon on May 1, 1876, she was the daughter of the late James and Nora Feeney, early day settlers of this area. A lifelong resident of the state, she had lived most of her life in this area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman, in 1959 and was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. She leaves no children but several nieces and nephews reside in the community.
She was member of the Sacred Heart Sodality Society at Maxwell.
Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Maxwell with burial in the family plot at the Maxwell cemetery.
Rosary will be recited tomorrow night at the F. D. Sweet & Son Chapel here at 8 o'clock.
