Mrs. Myrtle Haller Parker, 68, widow of Chas. W. Parker, expired in Lafayette, La., Friday at 3:45 p.m. Mrs. Parker was a native of Biloxi, and had resided in Lafayette for six months. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church and opened the Biloxi Postal Telegraph Co. as manager and remained there until it closed in 1944. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter Roque, Lafayette, a son, James, Houston, Texas, and four grandchildren. The remains arrived in Biloxi this morning. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. from O'Keefe Funeral Home with services at Nativity Catholic Church by the Rev. Francis A. Waters. Burial will be in Biloxi Cemetery.
