"Mrs. Ella LaMar died at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday morning , at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Kato, 30_ Rosewood Avenue, after a lingering illness, aged 64 years.
She was born Jan. 5, 1858, in Virginia, and had been a resident of Aurora for the last 50 years.
She is survived by one son, Emanual, of Detroit, Mich., and two daughters, Mrs. Spencer Warren and Mrs. Charles Kato, both of Aurora.
The funeral will be held at two o'clock Thursday afternoon, from the Healy chapel. The Rev. John H. Bell of the A. M. E. Church will officiate. Interment will be in West Aurora Cemetery." -
