Mrs. Gladys Odessa Qualls Allen, 85, of Lancaster, widow of Clinton Buford Allen passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. She was born August 12, 1926 in Opp, Alabama, a daughter of the late Tobe Qualls and Lula Mae Strickland Qualls.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Allen will be held Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Harvestime Assembly of God with the Rev. Bill Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.
Mrs. Allen is survived by a son, Hayward Allen and his wife June of Lancaster; a daughter, Agnes Hudson of Lancaster; a brother, Milford Qualls all of Opp, Alabama; three sisters, Ruby Hinkle of Opp, Alabama, Martha Taylor of Lugoff and Betty Sue Peaks of Opp, Alabama; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Qualls and a sister, Judy Loggins.
