Mr. Ford died Saturday at Columbia Heights Hospital following a long illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carrie Ellen Ford of Columbia; two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Fisher of Columbia and Mrs. Evelyn Mayfield of Junction City, Ark.; two sons, Louis L. Ford of Columbia and W. T. Ford Jr. of West Monroe; four sisters, Mrs. Albert Boudreaux and Mrs. Mattie Dill both of Thibodaux, Mrs. John Waddell of Alexandria, Mrs. Henry Machen of New Orleans; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The grandsons were to serve as pallbearers.
