Madeline was the second of 6 children to the late William and Alice Jessen who were survived the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. However to many of us she was Grams who told us stories of the "old days" and of our family history.
She moved to the Sacramento area in the 1960's and remained there until her passing in February, 1994. She was a good woman with a good and loving heart.
At the time of her passing, her family was at her side. She was survived by her two sisters, her five children, her 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
