Scott Warren Albright, 46, of Shelley, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, at University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Jan. 16, 1962, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Warren and Edna DeAnne Metcalf Albright. He was raised in various places throughout the country, while his father served in the military. He graduated from high school in California.
On Sept. 4, 2008, he married Jenny Kay Barg at the University of Utah Hospital Intensive care unit. He worked at French's, Pillsbury and Basic American Food in Shelley for 25 years. He liked sports and cars, especially his 1964 Volvo. Scott will be loved and missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny of Shelley; children, Tyla and Colby Barg, both of Shelley; mother, DeAnne (Tal) Thompson of Franklin; father, Warren Lamont Albright of Ririe; and siblings, Nancy (Ron) Stuart of Palm Springs, Calif., and Lincoln (Shawna) Albright of Riverton, Utah.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Shelley Stake Center, 325 E. Locust in Shelley, with Bishop Greg Nelson conducting. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W. Oak in Shelley and from 12:30 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery.
