MELDRIM -- Marion "Mose" G. Slater Sr., 66, died April 2 at home.
He was a native of Meldrim and lived most of his life in Faulkville. He was a retired shop foreman with Truck & Trailer Leasing. He was a veteran of the army, serving during the Korean War.
SURVIVORS: two sons, Glenn Slater Jr. and Leonard Dale Slater, both of Faulkville; two daughters, Connie Loncar of Atlanta and Debbie Joskovic of Freemont, Calif.; three sisters, Betty Brown of Sunrise, Fla., Bobbie Hutchinson of Plantation, Fla., and Ginger Napier of Anaheim, Calif.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. today and Monday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Massey Chapel in Garden City.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Massey Chapel, burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
