She was preceded in death by
her husband, Robert Newman,
a daughter, Sara Elizabeth "Crickett" Boster,
two sisters, Charlene Shockley, and Lillie Breadlove.
She is survived by
two daughters, Emmojene Wilkes of Huntington, West Virginia, and Edna Edwards of Proctorville, Ohio.
