Darlene Rada Aamodt, 46, Red Wing, Minn., formerly of Eau Claire, died in a car accident Thursday in Hudson, Colo.
Darlene Madson was born in Eau Claire and married Richard Aamodt Dec. 21, 1985, in Red Wing, Minn. She owned and operated D & J Ceramics in Eau Claire for 4 13 years, was a medical secretary for Dr. P.J. Finucane for 15 years and then operated the Palomino Inn in Bay City.
Survivors include two sons. Rick Rada, Mike Rada, both of Eau Claire; two stepsons, Jay Aamodt, Chris Aamodt, both of Red Wing, Minn.: one stepdaughter, Jane Aamodt, Red Wing, Minn.: one sister, Diane Steinke. Eau Claire: one stepsister, Gloria Wilson, Eau Claire: her mother, Dorothy Young, and stepfather, Raymond Young, Eau Claire: one brother, James Madson, Eau Claire: a half brother, Ronald Young, Rhinelander; and a stepbrother, Richard Young, Eau Claire.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Redeemer's Church with burial in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery, both in Eau Claire.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and until 10 a.m. Tuesday at Golden Funeral Home. Eau Claire.
