Funeral services for Alma C. Appleby, 84 of Lexington will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will be held from 1 pm until service time on Wednesday, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Mrs. Appleby died on Friday, June 24, 2011 at New Haven Care Center, Odessa. Memorials to the family. Alma Brown was born on January 16, 1927 to George & Minnie Duncan Brown in Lexington, MO. Mrs. Appleby had been a homemaker, wife, and loving mother. Survivors include her children, Mrs. Joyce Spease and husband, Larry, Lexington, a son, Mark Appleby and wife, Rene, of Wellington and a daughter, Cindy Vidmar of Clinton, MO. There are three grandchildren, Lori Davis, Blue Springs, MO, Robert Ford, Shelton CT; Meagan Appleby, Odessa and 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great- grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters, Margie Kendrick and husband Pat, of Blue Springs and Marian Ewing of Lexington. Mrs. Appleby was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Michael Ford, and husbands.
