Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at 9:30 in St. Catherine's Catholic Church at Oyens, Iowa, for Charles B. Majeres, who passed away Sunday at the age of 60 years and 21 days. Rev. H. Karhoff of Oyens read the Mass.

Interment was in the St. Catherine's Cemetery, Oyens, with Wiltgen's funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Charles B. Majeres was born August 19, 1884, at Oyens and spent his entire life in the Oyens vicinity.

On September 22, 1909, he was united in marriage with Josephine Schiltz. The young couple went to live on a farm near Oyens.

Mr. Majeres had been in failing health for some time. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Art Luken (Rosalind); four sons, Clarence R. of Lismore, Minn., Leonard N. of Granville, Iowa, Melvin J. of LeMars, Iowa, and Cecil, at home; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Joe and Nick of LeMars; and three sisters, Mrs. Matt Diederich, Mrs. George Delperdang and Mrs. Alphonse Delperdang, all of Remsen.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Nick Ruden; and a brother, John.
