Ford City, Dec. 13 – Mrs. Pearl N. Burdy, 38, of McGrann died following a short illness in Armstrong County Hospital in Kittanning Sunday, December 12, at 9:20 p.m. Born in Kittanning August 22, 1905, Mrs. Burdy was the daughter of Clarence W. and Kissiah (Pugh) Lasher. She is survived by her husband, Felix Burdy; a daughter, Mrs. Jay Hill, of McGrann; her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Freda Penman and Hazel Lasher, both of New Kensington; and two brothers, Frank and Clarence Lasher, Jr., also of New Kensington. Friends may pay their respects at the Dornan funeral home, Fifth avenue extension, Ford City, Monday evening. On Tuesday, the body will be removed to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Lasher, Seventh street road, New Kensington, where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. W. K. Morgan, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Kittanning, will officiate. Burial will be made at Natrona Heights.

Mrs. Burdy was born August 22, 1905 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Clarence W. and Kissiah (Pugh) Lasher. She has been a member of the McGrann area for about a year and is survived by her husband Felix Burdy. The J. L. Dornan Funeral Home of Ford City is in charge of arrangements. Burial was made Thursday, December 16, 1943 in Union Cemetery.
