On Thursday evening of last week, Mr. Will Andrews of Colbert county and Miss Cordia Goins of East Florence were married at the home of the bride's parents in East Florence. The groom is a young farmer of Colbert county, and the bride is the daughter of R. C. Goins, an old citizen of this place. Several friends of both the bride and groom were present to witness the ceremony, which was performed by Squire Blakely.

Mrs. Cordie L. Andrews Rites at Crooked Oak
Tuscumbia, Ala., January 22 - (Spl) - Funeral services for Mrs. Cordie Lee Andrews, 66. A resident of Colbert Heights, near Tuscumbia, who died at the residence Wednesday morning, was held Thursday afternoon at Crooked Oak Church, with the Rev. John Rickman officiating.
Surviving is three daughters, Mrs. Frank Smallwood and Mrs. James Honey, Tuscumbia, and Mrs. Clarence Honey, Killen; six sons, Albert Andrews, Nashville, Tennessee, James, Lacey, William, Thomas, and Pride Andrews, Tuscumbia; three brothers, Jerry Goins, Tuscumbia, Sam Goins, Nashville, and James Goins, Akron, and Three sisters, Mrs. J. T. Hall, Miami, Mrs. Martin Johnson, Tuscumbia, and Mrs. Kate Gamble, Florence.
