Gloria Inez Davis Kollar was born 31 May 1936 to Angus Ratliff "Mel" Davis and Vallie Sally Stanley Davis in Cottondale, Jackson County, Florida. Mrs. Kollar, age 72, of Panama City, Florida, passed away February 19, 2009, at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City.
Mrs. Kollar was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Larry Jim Herrington Jr. and William Robert Kollar; four brothers, Bobby Ray Davis, Edgar D. Davis, Patrick Paul Davis and William Edward Davis; and two sisters, Betty Joyce Carter and Alma Louise Davis. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, one brother, three sisters; one uncle, Osco Davis of Springfield, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22 at Peel Funeral Home Chapel Vernon. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2009, at New Hope Methodist Church with Chaplain Craig Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay, Florida, directing.
