Ada M. Duckworth age 84 of Rockford, died at 10:25 AM, Oct. 10, 2011, in Swedish American Hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1927, in Jackson, TN, the daughter of Elijah & Alberta Hayes. She lived 30 years in Rockford, coming here from Gary, IN. She married Fred Duckworth in Gary, Indiana. He predeceased her in 1981. She was first employed in the dietary dept. of Crown Point Convalescent Home and then her last employment was with Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home as the Head House Keeper for several years. She was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include: son, Charles, of Rockford; sister, Aline Wortham; of Jackson, TN; daughter-in-law, Irene Hollins; grandchildren, Charles Jones Jr., Jason Jones, Temeties Chase, Patricia Chase and a host of other grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by children, twins Billy & Phyllis McCurdy and Walter Jones.
