John T. Carroll, 67, of 904 Rome St., Carrollton, died Nov. 15, 2001.
Mr. Carroll was a native of Bartow County, born Jan. 22, 1934, the son of the late Tom Z. Carroll and Pauline Kell Carroll.
He was a retired postal worker with the U.S. Postal Services and was a Baptist. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include Nita Carroll; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jay Walton of Carrollton; granddaughter, Jennifer Kinney; brothers, Jimmy W. Carroll, Paul Carroll and Joe Carroll, all of Rome; sisters, Vera Mathis of Rome, Carolyn Bridges of Cleveland, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001 at Holly Springs Cemetery with M. Paul Carroll officiating.
Almon Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
