Sybil Irene Rush Coover Obituary

Sybil Irene Coover, daughter of Nicholas and Jane Rush, was born near Burr, Nebraska, June 5 1881, and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Krantz in Westerville on March 16, 1943 at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 11 days.
Her early days were spent in her home near Burr. She received her education in the rural schools and her high school and college education was in York and Peru schools. She taught nine years in the rural schools of Otoe and Johnson counties.
On October 18 1906 she was married to Frank Coover of Cook. To this union nine children were born, one having preceded her in death. The children living in order of their ages are Paul, of Broken Bow; Mary Krantz, of Grand Island; Helen Sans, Grand Island; Ozell Harms, Lincoln, Pvt. Francis Coover, somewhere in Africa; Pvt. Arthur Coover, Camp Ord, California; Pfc. Dale Coover, somewhere in the Southwest Pacific and Mrs. Lloyd Krantz of Westerville. Others to mourn her passing are the three sisters, Mrs. Lessie Phelps, Lincoln; Mrs. E. G. Gibbs, Elk Creek; and Mrs. Ernest Langley of Sidney.
In life Mrs. Coover was a very considerate and loving wife and mother, always placing others first when she could offer them a helping hand.
Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon.
