Rogers man dies in car/train collision
JULY 03, 2006 12:00 AM SCHUYLER (AP) - A 21-year-old Rogers man died when a train struck the car he was driving at an unmarked crossing in Colfax County.
Leo E. Obershaw was northbound on County Road 7 four miles east of Schuyler when he came upon the Union Pacific crossing at about 6:40 a.m. Saturday, Deputy Andrew Yost of the Colfax County Sheriff's Office said. Obershaw was driving a 1997 Chrysler Concorde.
Yost said Obershaw apparently didn't see the oncoming train. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Yost said.

Survivors are: parents, Victor, Jr. and Traci Obershaw of Rogers, NE.; brother, Timothy Obershaw of Fremont, NE.; sisters, Michelle (Bill) Bishop of Monroe, NE. and Shannon Obershaw of Genoa, NE. and grandparents.
Interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery, Oakdale, NE.
