DONALD LEON TREESE

Mr. Treese, 61, of 3902 4th Ave. died at 1:01 a.m. Monday, March 22, 1993, at Mercy Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Treese retired from the shipping department of Federated Fry Metals on March 2, 1991, after 17 years' service.

He was born Sept. 22, 1931, in Altoona, the son of Jesse and Geraldine M. (Burns) Treese. He married Annemarie A. Koksch on Aug. 23, 1963, in Frankfurt Main, Germany.

Surviving are his wife and a son, Michael of Altoona. Also surviving are three sisters and a brother: Willard E. of Las Vegas, Nev., Verna M. Saul of Bridgeton, N.J., Nellie M. Grasser of Johnstown and Helen M. of Altoona.

Mr. Treese was a member of Ward Avenue Presbyterian Church. He was a Navy veteran, having served in the Korean War.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Mortuary.

TREESE — Services for Donald L. Treese of 3902 4th Ave. will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Memorial Chapel of Stevens Mortuary, by the Rev. Douglas R. McGaffin. Interment at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 8th Ave.
